St Michael, Boldmere
(Harrison & Harrison, 1967)

Specification

This substantial two-manual instrument by Harrisons replaced an earlier (1891) 3-manual, but smaller (23 stops) organ, by Banfield after the church had been partly destroyed by fire in 1964.

As a result of reconstruction after the fire, the modern interior (see centre photo) takes one by surprise compared with the more traditional look of the exterior (left photo).  The detached console is situated in the south aisle and the centre photo shows the view from the console across the Nave.
